Earlier this year, my daughter’s wonderful teacher asked me if we could do some fun family portraits to give her husband as a birthday gift. The session had to be bumped back a few times due to weather. But today the session was just meant to be, because the weather held out (despite the 90% chance of rain!) and we were able to go and have a little fun making that happen. It was hard picking just a few previews!

I was very honored last winter to be asked by a very special woman to take her portrait for a woman’s history book she going to be included in. She was being honored for her years of contributions to the community as a nurse, educator, innovator, and mother. Now the book has been published and looks great. Congratulations, Mom!

This big sister got a special surprise in her Easter basket this year, a baby brother! And what a lucky little girl she is to have such a sweet brother. You may have seen their maternity images earlier on the blog. I was so excited to be able to work with them again so soon.
