We did a little modeling for Boutique NRF New York last week. Every outfit we receive from her is fabulous and unique. This particular set comes with the matching bracelet and clippie and is for sale here.
I got to spend this morning with a very energetic little gal. But what a doll! At a little over one, she’s already running, and wanted to explore all of the wonders at the botanical gardens. It was a beautiful morning and we got to see frogs, ducks, geese, cherry blossoms, and lots of beautiful flowers. Here is just a little preview of our session. For the past several months I’ve been taking a course on painting using Corel Painter. I’m excited to soon be able to offer my clients digitally hand painted versions of their photographic portraits. They will be available printed on art paper or canvas. I will call this new line “Painted Glow”, since I think the painting allows you to add a little depth and texture and pull out the natural highlights. Here’s just a sneak peak of one I’ve been working on. It just needs a few finishing touches.

Earlier this year, my daughter’s wonderful teacher asked me if we could do some fun family portraits to give her husband as a birthday gift. The session had to be bumped back a few times due to weather. But today the session was just meant to be, because the weather held out (despite the 90% chance of rain!) and we were able to go and have a little fun making that happen. It was hard picking just a few previews!

I was very honored last winter to be asked by a very special woman to take her portrait for a woman’s history book she going to be included in. She was being honored for her years of contributions to the community as a nurse, educator, innovator, and mother. Now the book has been published and looks great. Congratulations, Mom!
