I’ve been waiting since January to work with these little ones, and it was totally worth the wait!  I had the chance to photograph big sister last December, and it was fun to see her again and meet her little sister and brothers.   They were just bundles of cuteness, and since we caught them just before the younger three are mobile, they were pretty easy to catch all in one place.

And Baby Makes Six

July 16, 2009

hos5hos4hos6You may remember these siblings from my website.  Now it’s a year later and I had the chance to work with them again–this time with a new baby brother.   Its so fun seeing families grow and come back for new portraits year after year.

A Little Newborn Color

July 14, 2009

At only one week old, this little guy was the perfect subject.   So sweet and sleepy, and with a full head of brown hair.   Mom and dad wanted to bring a little color into the session, so we tried to different ways to brighten up the set.   We used their own dining rooms chair for the first image.  And after he woke up and had a little feeding break, I grabbed a few natural light images on their gorgeous blue couch to capture his bright eyes.

Lil’ Princess

This tiny princess-in-training was the perfect little model for my new pink crown hat.   I admitted to the parents that I have a little bit of a newborn hat addiction, and I love having the excuse to buy them for my sessions.   This was a fun session to come back to after my vacation–mom and dad were such great sports and their little gal was such a little cutie, with the most adorable snorts *wink*.

By the Sea

Sharing a few shots from my vacation at the Jersey shore.  I went to LBI as a child, and it was fun to be able to take my own kids and show them the same things I used to enjoy.    There’s nothing like a week of fun in the sand and water by day and amusement park rides, shows, and ice cream by night.  And here is a rare photo of myself here on the blog–caught by my Dad.  I was shooting the lighthouse in the sunset that you see above.

Long Weekend

July 3, 2009

jac1jac3jac2jac4

We took advantage of the long weekend to get a fun family session early this morning.    I have known the older two since before the youngest was born, and I was excited to work with them now that their younger brother was old enough to join in.   The sweet little girl was so full of smiles we had to try to get her not to smile so widely for some of them so we could see her beautiful blues.   And her brothers were such charmers.   It was a great way to end the week and start the 4th of July weekend.

**I will be on vacation next week and back on July 12.  If you are interested in booking a session, or a current client who needs to get in touch with me, send me an email, and I will check in periodically.**
