Just Playin’

I borrowed some of my favorite models for a little studio fun last week.  I wanted to try out my waterfowers backdrop and some new pettiskirts I picked up, and what little girl doesn’t love playing around in poofy skirts and parasols?

2 Bundles of Joy

These little cuties were one month old and only 5 lbs.   The nice thing about having them in the studio at one month old is that I get some great eye contact.  They were less excited about the floppy naked poses, especially the little guy, but his sister was willing to try a few for us.  So little and already into getting her photo taken!

Little Tulip

I had the chance to do newborn photos for this little cutie last year, and now I got to come back in honor of her first birthday.  She has grown into an adorable little doll and is the apple of mom and dad’s eye.  Here is a look back at her last year.  She has grown so much!

Winter Morning

January 25, 2010

These little guys braved a chilly January morning and we managed to have a little fun and stay warm.  I have worked with 3 of their cousins previously and I was excited to meet more members of the family.

I had the honor of working with musician Andy Colon to create the images for his debut album.   I am so excited to see (and hear!) how the album turns out.  These are some sneak peeks, and I will post again with a link to his album when it is released.

I absolutely love working with these little guys!  This was the third time I had the chance to photograph big sis, and the second time for the triplets, and they are just adorable.   Today’s session was to commemorate their first birthday.   Here’s a look back at them last summer when I last saw them:

I was lucky enough to photograph this little guy when he was still in mom’s belly and again as a newborn.  Today I got to see him a third time for his one-year session.   What a dapper little dude he’s grown into!  And so stinkin’ cute.  I just had a blast playing around in the studio with him and his family.   And here’s a glance back at him last year:

Red Bird

I love when families come to their sessions with fun ideas for their baby portraits.   In honor of her middle name, mom and dad brought along a red bird.    And then after her cat nap she gave us some great smiles while decked out in her Husky attire.    It’s a good thing she looks good in purple, because I see a lot of it in her future!

3 Brothers

January 12, 2010

car1car3car2This little guy is going to have to learn quickly how to keep up with with two big brothers.  But if his current size is any indication, he should be just fine!   He is only 2 1/2 months old, and looked like he could have been 4 or 5 months.

Waiting for Asher

January 9, 2010

ric3ric4ric1I was excited to see this family again for their maternity session as my first session of the new year.  You may remember them from their family session last fall.    They are so much fun to work with, and I am looking forward to meeting their baby boy next month!
