Smiles and Giggles

October 29, 2011

It was a chilly morning out at the botanical gardens, but this adorable little girl was a great sport, having fun exploring the flowerbeds, fields, and ponds.   I just loved her cheerful spirit, all smiles and charm.

Berries and Trikes

October 26, 2011

We squeezed in this session in the morning before the rain rolled in.   This little guy had the cutest curls, and was really excited to explore the cranes, trains, and nature.    I’m glad we managed to get him to stand still for a few moments so we could capture his adorable grins.

Just Monkeyin’ Around

October 25, 2011

After a slow start to our session, this little cutie finally decided to catch some rest and pose for some newborn portraits.  And isn’t she a perfect little model?   The sock monkey pose was spontaneous idea at the end of the session, and ended up being one of my favorites.

Busy Boy

How cute is this busy little one-year-old?   He looked so dapper in his little brown puffy vest.  We had fun exploring his yard and local park.

Sunny Day at the Mill

October 23, 2011

I have had the chance to photograph this fun family for the past several years, and their annual session is always a highlight of my fall.  This year we had fun exploring the mill, and trying to avoid goose poo.  After several weeks of rain, it was nice to have a brisk, sunny, and dry fall morning for the shoot.

Little Apple in the Basket

October 22, 2011

I can’t believe it’s been 2 years since I’ve seen this big brother.  He was only a baby (the same age as his little sister is now) when I met him back in 2009.   Now he’s an attentive brother, so sweet in wanted to take care of his sweet little sis.
