And then there were smiles

February 28, 2012

I met this sweet little girl last year when she was just days old and her parents brought her in for a newborn session.   She is now a busy one-year-old who enjoys crawling, playing, tipping buckets, and playing peek-a-boo.   Oh, and stealing daddy’s glasses ; )

All that Hair

February 22, 2012

This little 11-week-old sweetie was happy to show off her big eyes and big smiles before we got her to rest for some more traditional newborn poses.  She had the fullest head of hair with touches of blonde and brown that normally would come at a high price at a salon.

A Head Full of Curls

February 21, 2012

This sweet little one-week-old was adorable little doll, with a perfect head of tiny ringlets.  She loved the hand and voice of her daddy, and it worked wonders in calming her down for the photos.   Not that she needed too much calming, since she was a sweet, easy-going little girl.

Sitting Up

February 17, 2012

This little six-month-old wasn’t too fond of sitting up according to mom, but she did really well for us at her session today.  We had a little fun dressing her up and trying out a few different props.  She has the sweetest grin, and already enjoys posing for the camera.

Like Mary Poppins

February 10, 2012

This sweet little big-sister-to-be had a blast playing at my studio this morning.  She was so cute, talking about herself in the 3rd person and telling us how my parasols would help her fly.   I’ve known her since we did her maternity photos, and it was so amazing to see the little girl she’s growing up to be.   I look forward to meeting her new little sister in just a few weeks!
