Tree Fairies

Every few months I take a break from photographing clients and get back to my first photography muses–my own little girls.  They were having a good time after school playing in the little dogwood tree in our front yard, and I went to grab my camera to take some impromptu fall portraits.   They had donned their classic sweater dresses for picture day at school.   The very next day my older daughter got braces and my younger daughter lost her top front tooth, so these photos were really a reminder of how quickly things can change and how portraits can capture a moment in time.
