It was a lovely afternoon and I had the help of my daughter as a photography assistant/dog manager for tonight’s session.   I have been photographing these adorable girls since they were newborns, and now the older daughter is in Kindergarten!  It’s hard to believe how times flies.

And last but not least…the leaf pile!

It was nice to see these kids again and to explore a new location with them.  They were so excited to see the leaves, and I promised them some leaf-throwing fun at the end of the session.

Brothers and the Photobomb

I have been doing family portraits for this family since they were just a family of three, and seeing them year after year has made my job so easy that in our mini-session this morning we managed to get a full sessions worth of pictures!   There was even time for some zombie poses and a little mid-session dance party.   Here’s a little look back at their family…

Evening in the Park

It was a brisk evening, and we managed to get our session done in record time.  It was so nice to have the chance to photograph these sweet little girls again.   The younger daughter was full of giggles and energy and big sis was a willing model for us.  Aren’t they an adorable pair?

This impeccably-dressed  family returned to update their family portraits with their newest addition: a sweet baby girl.   It was nice to have the chance to work with them again, and see how much their son had grown since I last took his portraits.   Here’s a look back to his baby session:

Fall Flowers

My how this little one has grown since I last saw her at her newborn session!  It has been fun seeing her and her sister grow up, and today we did moved outdoors for a family and 1st birthday session.  The girls were a little more interested in exploring the park than posing for photos, but that’s par for the course for this age.   I was amazed at all of the flowers still in bloom in October–the garden was still so pretty we had to include it in some of the photos.

Pink Boots/Purple Boots

Two little girls, all pretty in pink (with a touch of purple).  They had the greatest yard for us to work with for photos–like their own personal park.   We had a fun jumping off stumps and tossing leaves and managed to fit in our session before the rain came in.  It was so nice working with this family again and seeing the girls growing up.  Here’s a look back at their first session:

I photographed this baby girl last winter as a newborn and now she was back and full of smiles.   Look how much she has grown (but still hanging out with her pal, Eeyore!)

My Nephews

So I’m probably a little biased because they are my nephews, but aren’t they adorable?  My sister-in-law always picks out the cutest clothes for them for their photoshoots.

After a few delays, I finally got to meet this sweet little newborn girl.  She decided to take her time arriving into the world, and she was much the same way at our shoot.  She wanted to keep her eyes open and make sure things were going as she wanted before deciding to give in and pose for us.  But the result was a nice mix of wide-eyed and sleepy shots, and she looks adorable both ways.
