I met this sweet little girl last winter during my holiday mini-sessions, and I got to work with her again today at mom’s maternity session. She is such a sweet little girl, and I think she’ll make a great big sis!

It was a beautiful morning today, and I got to spend it with these cousins taking some portraits for their grandparents. You may remember the first little cutie and her siblings from their family session last fall. It was nice to see them again–this time in warmer weather!

I love when families have special requests for me and have their own vision for what they would like for their portraits. It really makes custom photography, well, custom! This family had a portrait of their older daughter in this cute pink seersucker dress, and wanted one of their younger daughter in the same dress at the same age. What a fun idea! And we also took the opportunity to grab some portraits of the girls together–big sis at almost 5 years old, and little sis at one.

I was so excited that I had the opportunity to do this newborn photoshoot for some friends of mine. A couple years ago I played a part in setting up the parents on their first date, and now they are a family of 3! I think he is such a handsome little fellow with his perfect skin, big eyes and full head of hair. And so easy-going in the studio–nary a fuss from him the whole shoot.
