Little Cupid

January 30, 2011

I first met this little Valentine last September when he was just days old, and now he was back for a mini-session.  He was such a cutie in his tie onesie, and such a charming smile.

One and Ready to Go!

January 21, 2011

This little guy just turned one and always wanted to be on the go.   He was having so much fun playing with the toys in the studio that it was hard to interrupt in order to ask him to pose for some photos ; )

Happy 2nd Birthday, Tulip!

January 20, 2011

This little cutie was back for her third annual session–we started with her newborn session, then her 1st birthday, and now her 2nd birthday.   We have had a tulip theme since her newborn session.  Today we continued the trend at the studio.   Here’s a look back at the first tulip shot:

Four going on Five

January 17, 2011

How fun are these little guys?  My favorite triplets were back for their 2-year portraits with big sister who just turned 4.  Look how much they’ve grown since our session last year:

3 Sisters

January 14, 2011

The eldest of these three sisters is a dance buddy of my daughter, and I was excited about having the opportunity to work with these adorable little girls and their parents.   They were naturals at having their pictures taken, and when they had the idea of using the baby carriage for their portraits, we ran with it.   Luckily their littlest sister still fit inside!

Baby makes 8

January 10, 2011

What a fun way to start off the year of portraits–with a celebrating adoption session for a family of 8!   We had been hoping to try some outdoor portraits, but the weather didn’t cooperate so we had a little fun in the studio instead.  The kids were so fun to work with, and they just adored their littlest brother.

Wreaths of Williamsburg

January 7, 2011

We visited Williamsurg last month while everything was beautifully decorated for the holidays.   As we explored Colonial Williamsburg, my girls and I undertook a little project to make their grandparents a calendar with photos of them in front of the decorations.   I wanted to wait until we gave the gifts to share, so here they are!  These were all taken with my Canon S90 point-and-shoot camera.   I will be back next week with some new session previews when I start up my sessions for this year.
