I thought that first image was just so cute. It looks like little sis has some advice to impart on big sis already. I wonder what she would say if you could talk : ) I’m glad I was able to fit these folks in at the last minute before I go on my limited summer schedule. They were a lot of fun, and had the cutest pair of little girls. Since I won’t be posting photos as frequently, I though I would add a few extras from their session. Starting next week I have my own two girls home with me for the summer so I will be taking some time off to have some summer adventures with them. Happy summer everyone!

I can’t believe this little girl is already one year old! I had the chance to do maternity, newborn, and holiday portraits for her and now her first outdoor session in honor of her first birthday. I just love her adorable wardrobe and big beautiful eyes.

I wasn’t sure what to expect in the studio this morning when this 11-day-old and his 2-year-old sister arrived. Photographing toddlers with their newborn siblings is often a challenge, but today I lucked out with a chill (and awake) baby and a wonderfully cooperative big sister. Just for fun I thought I would include a little blooper roll from the shoot.

How incredibly adorable and well-dressed is this little dude? I just love his little Yoda hat. I’ve never seen one before, and it was just perfect for him. I knew that these folks must be a fun family when they came with such adorable Etsy goodies, and to top it off, their eldest and my eldest happen to share the same name, spelling and all.
