Doesn’t she have the most the most amazing eyes? Little E is just short of 2 years old and kept her mom and I on our toes this morning at her session. She was having such a good time playing around she didn’t want to be bothered to stand still for photos… at all! But we were persistent and patient, and did manage to catch some of those smiles. And I won’t go into how we got her sitting for that first closeup… it’s our “dirty” little secret <wink>.

There’s nothing more magical than sharing a vacation to Disney World with little kids. I love that my girls are still young enough to want to dress up in fancy princess gowns in 90 degree weather, meet the “real” princesses, and dine in magical castles.
Evidence that I went one vacation, too….a rare photograph of photographer. Here I am with my two little “Jessies”. Their dresses were custom made by the wonderful Angela of Boutique Ollie Girl.
And I will leave you with our view of the castle from the top of the Contemporary Hotel. It totally made it worth it to carry along my 70-200 mm lens.

The new album from Spanish-language Christian artist Andy Colon, which features my images, is now available to the public! You can find it on iTunes, or hear some previews through his website. I think the album look amazing, and I am so excited that I could be part of the project.

This little 6-week-old was not in the mood for sleepy newborn portraits during his session. Try as we did to get him to take a little shuteye, he just wanted to show us those baby blues.

These siblings stopped in for a session while visiting their grandparents here in the DC area. We got an early start to our session, and I was surprised at how many cyclists and runners we had to dodge at the park even early in the morning. I guess they all wanted to beat the heat, too!

I am always delighted to photograph repeat customers. I worked with these guys last summer, and remembered how much they liked climbing tress, so I wanted to be sure to find a new location with some more trees for them this time. This year they went for a more casual look and they were much more comfortable with the camera.

I loved having the opportunity to work with her for photos for her soon-to-be facelifted site. Just talking with her and photographing her yoga poses was enough inspiration to want to check out the yoga classes at the gym!

My friends just adopted a new pup, and today she came over for a puppy playdate. She has such a sweet demeanor and the softest fur! And even though she’s just 12 weeks, she is already almost at big as my 12-year-old border collie mix! I couldn’t resist snapping a few pics of her cute self.
